ipython-notebook-common software package provides interactive Python html notebook data package, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ipython-notebook-common
ipython-notebook-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ipython-notebook-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ipython-notebook-common *
You will get with ipython-notebook-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
